Conestoga Driving School

Conestoga Driving School is an excellent place for you to begin your driving career. There are many streets and roads for you to practice on. One of the reasons why KW is a good place to get started, is because there are many open roads with little confusion. In places like Hamilton or Toronto, it is very easy for a young driver to get confused because there are so many places with one way roads, no left hand turns, etc. KW is not like this and thus it is easier to learn how to drive here. No matter what kind of vehicle you like to drive, we are sure you will find a welcome experience with KW driving schools. Each of our driving schools listed in this directory have been teaching students how to drive for years. The instructors are qualified, professional responsible business people who take pride in what they do. If you have any problem with these driving schools, feel free to contact us using the contact form. We will do our best to look into the issue for you and report back.

Conestoga Driving School Student Reviews

People were friendly but nowhere near professional. I would not recommend this to anyone!! Although this is a long review, I urge you to read all of it because there are some SERIOUS problems (in my opinion) from this place.

My instructor made me feel very uncomfortable because he would always laugh at me when I felt nervous about some of the driving activities we were doing. At one point, he was pressuring me to say a positive review on what looked to be his personal phone. It was EXTREMELY awkward because, as a teenage girl alone in a car with a random guy, it is sometimes hard to stick up for yourself when you feel awkward. I kept trying to tell my instructor that I didn't want him to take a video of me but he continued to ask me to do one. I ended up saying a little 2 minute speech into his phone but ridiculously reluctantly. I went home very angry that day!

Another note, on multiple occasions when my instructor was driving me home, he would have long-winded conversations on his phone that I doubt were 'urgent'. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand sometime people talk on the phone when they are driving, but to have a licensed driver who is supposed to be teaching students how to drive doing that, is absolutely ridiculous and made me feel unsafe.
Also, when I was driving, my instructor would call people and would tell me to pull off to the side of the road and wait until he was done talking. It felt like a big waste of my time as he would make/take multiple calls in each two-hour driving session.

Because I live in Cambridge and this place was in Kitchener, it was going to be a difficult situation to get to Kitchener, as obviously, I didn't have a car to drive there. The driving school offered to send someone to pick me up whenever I had in-class session. I thought this would be great! Unfortunately, the woman who was sent to pick me up had just learned to drive a standard car. This would not have been a problem if she wasn't given a standard car to pick me up in. So I spent half an hour, both ways, feel quite anxious about whether we would get there safely or not as the lady would struggle to work the car. She was very friendly and chatty however my main priority was to get to Kitchener safely.. which felt like a bit of an ordeal.

After I ended up doing my G1 test, in which I passed, I came back into the building where my instructor was waiting. He asked me how I did. I told him that I had gotten 98/100, so I passed! Before I could celebrate any more, as I had been super anxious about doing this test for weeks, he told me I should have gotten 100. He said he *expected* all of his students to get 100, and so basically, in his eyes, I had done very poorly. Although in the end, I still passed and felt good about it, it made me feel pretty embarrassed as he said this in front of everyone else in the driving office place.

Although the price is cheap, be aware: the quality matches the price. If you want your kids to learn lots and actually gain valuable driving skills, do NOT go here. I would never recommend Conestoga Driving School to anyone!!!

Betty was so young at only 59. How very sad. I'm thinking that one small sanvig grace is that she lived long enough to know Harold won the election. As the wife of a former MLA I can attest to the fact that spouse's make huge sacrifices in family time during their term-but during an election is the worst. There's always stress and tension and especially seeing the person you love attacked in the media-a spouse's role a a loving non judgemental sanity refuge is more important at those times. For Harold that loving refuge is gone but as a former pastor I pray that his faith will sustain him in this time of sorrow. He has an increible support network in his Conservative family. by Bastian posted on Thursday, October 29, 2015
Dear Carlo:First of all, you are dreaming if you think that all peolpe request euthanasia because they truly think it is best. All the studies show that at least 25% of euthanasia deaths are related to depression/mental issues.Second, we support Bill C-300 because its purpose is to improve suicide prevention throughout Canada. This is a good thing.By the way, I was on vacation that is why it took awhile to post your comment. by Thathianinha posted on Monday, November 09, 2015
You call yourself the 'euthanasia pretnevion coalition', yet you talk about 'suicide'. Two completely different topics. We should of course try to prevent people from trying to commit suicide. People who are trying to do this are mentally instable, not thinking clear.People who request euthanasia, do this because they truly believe this is best. They do so, consious and with explicit, repeated request. Will the 'moderator' (also blog author!) post this? http://wiyhxa.com atycvbk [link=http://memifkh.com]memifkh[/link] by Angel posted on Tuesday, November 10, 2015
Thank you so much for posting that link. I was honipg to see or hear about the tribute to this extraordinary woman and her family. So wonderful they know that she is now with the Lord and enjoying his presence. However, it is so sad for those left. by Nayi posted on Wednesday, November 11, 2015

The GRT will have their demo bus-bike-rack (I’d like to try that out myself) I don't usatrnednd. Is this different than the existing bike racks on busses? http://nnasdbshvxb.com xsivyybekc [link=http://wtlvdympr.com]wtlvdympr[/link] by David posted on Monday, December 28, 2015
Terrible customer service, and an extremely unorganized administration.

After ‘registering’ online on their website, I had to call the head office and leave two voicemails before getting a call back. I then was told I would get a confirmation email the next day. After two full weeks, I called back and they didn’t have my reservation on file. After giving my information again, I get the confirmation email the next day - the class dates AND location were incorrect.
The instructor was habitually late for the in car lessons, and had booked my daughters G2 exam before even getting in a car with her for the first time, for less than a month away! The instructor was also very unprofessional, as my daughter told me he was on the phone half the time and made her pull over for smoke breaks. After my husband spoke to the instructor the behavior stopped, but then my daughter advised the instructor would barely provide any feedback, only telling her she needed to 'do better' or state that her skills 'weren't good'.

A month after she completed her in car, the head office called to tell me my check bounced - I had paid with credit card at the start of the in class sessions. They explained me it was probably another Erin (?!). During this call I asked the admin what the final steps are after they confirmed that we did in fact pay, they stated they could not tell me as I haven’t paid yet. They said they would call me when they straighten everything out. 1 month later, no call back. Call them to get things moving. They said I should have called back right away (sorry, my fault), and it would take some time to find the records. I explained it has been months since she completed their course and I wanted to get all this over with. I was on hold for 3 minutes; they found the record of payment and confirmed she had completed the course.

A month after that ordeal my daughter when in to Service Ontario and got a copy of her Driver History - the Beginners Driver Training completion was not there. I called back again; they explained I should have called in before going to Service Canada to ask them to report the completion to the Ministry. I explain I had spoken with them a month ago and they confirmed everything was completed. To which they responded that I needed to specifically ask to process the completion.

Unfortunately, it was only after my daughter had attended that I began to hear horror stories from other parents.

Complete headache from start to finish. I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company. The low price is tempting, but you’ll get what you pay for. by Franny posted on Thursday, May 26, 2016
Worst company you could ever go with, awful customer service. there was 52 people in my class, they overbooked you could barely move in the room.

As for the in car lessons my instructor was 45 minutes late for every lesson, he texted there was condoms in his car at all times??? Even for my g2 exam he was an hour late and made me late for my exam.
